Cardiovascular capacity, muscular strength (lower extremities, upper extremities, core), flexibility, body composition are all within the scope of the Fitness Check-Up Protocol, which is carried out in the presence of a fitness instructor.The ScoreSoft® software, which can only be used by MeMap trainers, evaluates these components one by one and calculates your FitSkor® in the form of a single score according to their contribution to your health.
Cardiovascular strength weighs in the heaviest and it affects your FitScore® the most. It is the measure of the oxygen you can consume per kilogram. Based on your current health condition, the appropriate FitScore® protocol is applied with an expert trainer present and your cardiovascular endurance score is assessed. This is also the component that influences your fitness strategy the most.
Muscle Strength is the combination of the scores from 3 sections. Lower extremity, upper extremity and core strength are measures separately. The influence of each score on the FitScore® are different. Muscle strength is presented in 3 separate slices on the FitScore® pie chart. The sections to be prioritized are determined based on the scores from each section.
Flexibility, which affects your comfort in day to day life more than your physical health, is made into a numerical grade which contributes to your FitScore®. Based on the flexibility score, the FitScore® algorithm determines the amount of flexibility oriented exercises generated.
This is the ratio of your body fat to your total mass. Undesired ratios, both higher and lower than ideal, can cause a variety of maladies. The MeMap software’s algorithm, includes your body fat ratio at the time of the testing in your FitScore®.
The fitness components come together according to their contribution to your health and form the FitSkor®. Cardiovascular capacity is the fitness component that contributes the most to FitScore®. High cardiovascular capacity means lower risk of cardiovascular diseases and premature death from coronary heart disease. It’s also helps in weight management as it allows more energy consumption. Muscle flexibility affects your quality of life by making daily physical activities more comfortable. Flexibility has a smaller contribution to the FitScore® as it affects your health less than other fitness components.
To foster long term, sustainable improvement MeMap both shows you your current physical condition and also creates a personalized exercise strategy. It tells you what exercise you need to do, how frequently your need to do them, and for how long need to do them. You are provided an alternative to tailor your exercise plan to your work schedule and daily rhythm.
